Giving a Blessing...
This by far is the easiest and most valuable of all gifts...doing something special for someone...
Recently my darling daughter, her husband, and precious granddaughter were going out, they saw an older gentleman sitting at a local park, when they came home they noticed that the man was still sitting at the park, still looking sad. they decided that they would pack a lunch and bring it to him...
a sandwich
some chips
carrot sticks
orange and apple
a small christmas cake
candies
hot chocolate
off they went to the park...the gentleman, still there...
my daughter explained that they saw him sitting alone on the park bench when they left only to see that he was still there on their return, she thought he might like a little homemade lunch...this small gesture was received with heartfelt thanks...
just a little kindness goes a long way...
