Averylee Designs is back!

It's been a long time since we have provided anything on our blog page, but We're Back!  The company changed hands back in 2014 so I thought it was about time I introduced myself and start sharing some fun facts and ideas with you.


I joined Sheryl back in 2013 adding some new product to her store.  I developed a line of Pouf/Ottoman covers and book slings with the nursery line in mind.  Sheryl had another shop on Etsy that had taken off like fireworks and she decided that she needed to let go of the Home Décor Shop.  Here is where I come say, "Sister Cathy to the rescue."

Baby Nursery Ideas

Looking for inspiration for your baby's room, child's room or nursery? Well, we have several ideas gathered in our shop for themed baby rooms. We also have some new and exciting ideas on the horizon (personalized pillows with your child's name and date of birth)! This is one of my favorites! I love pinwheels and polka dots and the color combination that this adorable quit offers. What a great launching point for paint color in either a soft blue or bright pink bold stripes. How about using the pinwheel design throughout the room on walls, banners, pillows or window coverings? Pinwheels are so joyful:)

Here is another great idea for the baby boy on your nursery room list. Whales and the ocean in a bright bold color scheme lends itself to using brilliant color accents in an ocean themed nursery or bedroom. The whimsical and colorful bubbles on the accent backing add to using bubbles on the walls, throw rugs or furniture pieces.
