"Girly" Baby Shower - Tea, Pink, Polka Dots and Birds

Notice the way we used dessert dishes for the individual cake pedestals and the jar filled with glass stones to hold the tree branches.

Each of the baby's names were written on individual cakes for the mommy's. Notice the paper hearts are sprinkled everywhere.

This tea set is from Grammie's wedding 33 years ago.

Guest party favors where boxed loose leaf tea.

We carried out the graphic design on the cupcakes, banner and guest party favors. This design was purchased on Etsy.

The bird house were painted in two different shades of pink and then lightly sanded. They were embellished with hearts and ribbon that was cut from netting.

We also accented with tissue balls ~ VERY EASY to make.

A tea party fit for the new princesses.

The guests honor.
The photo doesn't show this but the frosting was a glitter pink ~ so cute!
This was such a delightfull event
 - a baby shower for my future granddaughters! After six grandsons both my daughter in-law and daughter are due within three weeks of each other and they are both having girls (can you give me a whoot whoot!).  Above are some photos from the pink/girly baby shower that we enjoyed (click on photo for caption and larger view).

I hope you find some inspiration for your future event ~ Sheryl

We, Peggy and Sheryl, are BFF's (Best Friends Forever)and co-authors of this blog. Our great ethusiasm for life and unwaivering friendship has sustained us through some very challenging health issues that has inspired us to channel our disabilities into unlimitless possibilities ~ thus our blog and Etsy store, www.AveryleeDesigns.etsy.com. We hope that you too are inspired through our blog entries to grow in your own creativity and joyful discoveries. Fun Fact: Our greatest treasure is our grandchildren for which our name is created from. Avery is one of six grandsons that Sheryl has and Rylee is Peggy's granddaughter. If you put the two names together they spell AveRYlee or Averylee...
